So. I email a guest several times before check in. No response but we get her apartment ready and wait in for her arrival.... She doesn't show but doesn't cancel. 2 months!! after her due check in she emails to ask for a refund 'family illness', nothing to do with covid. Politely decline. So today, despite the fact I'm patiently waiting on response from airbnb on queries about payment /adjustments for days in respect of other bookings, I actually get a message from airbnb asking as 'goodwill' if it's issue her a full refund!!!! So I book cinema tickets, don't go, then two months after all if I can have a refund because I was a no show!!!??!!! As you said new global head of hosting there is still a long way to go. I feel very let down
