Unable to submit cancellation request due to COVID on AirBNB site - error message received

Hi,

 

For the last couple of days I've experienced issues with the submission of my cancellation and refund request under the AirBNB extenuating circumstances policy. At the end of the process I receive the following error message:

 

"There was an error processing your request. This reservation may already have a pending refund request or there may have been an error in loading this page."

 

I never submitted a refund request through this process. In addition I've tried using IE and Chrome to submit the request and am receiving the same message using both browsers.

 

I've tried to reach out to the support team via their hotline and also have sent several messages to the Help Center but have not received any response.

 

Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so how was it resolved? Is there anyone from customer service that can offer assistance with this matter?
