Unfair Airbnb decision against guest

Hello.

We recently had a bad experience with a host, who claimed we have damaged a table in the property. The wooden table was quite old and with big scratches, even visible in the photos on Airbnb page. After we left, he documented some photos and finally Airbnb asked for a compensation of 250 CHF (~255 USD) for something we didn't do, and apart from this unfair decision, there is another unfair situation regarding  the opportunity for the host to take photos of the property, compared to what the guests can do after leaving the property. So, we could only refer to the original photos in the ad, which clearly show the condition of the old table, but it didn't work. Any experience or advice?

@Mahshid1 Make sure you have screen shots of the listing photos showing the pre-existing damage.

Then I am afraid you just need to continue to argue with Airbnb and potentially take them to small claims court if they remove the money from your card.
