Good morning and Happy Sunday. Last week a guest sent me 7 inquiries regarding my apartment. I pre-approved the guest, but a half hour or so later I received a message from Airbnb informing that I had been in contact with an account that had been removed for violating Airbnb terms of service.
how can a host or guest that has been removed enter again into Airbnb website? How can we prevent this from happening again? What oils have been his intension?
this is the first time that Airbnb has contacted me regarding an irregularity. It concerns me that host/guest removed have the know how to renter the platform. Any inputs or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Rafael
@Rafael236 Guests can and do make new profiles for themselves all the time, especially after they have received a bad review.
Hello Ann, I am interested in information abbout Airbnb outsourcing their cuctomer services to a third party. Do you know which channel I need to take? Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.

@Rafael236 7 inquiries is not normal. This sounds more like a phishing bot than a legit person looking for accommodation.
The "pre-approve" feature seems like a useful tool in theory. But the only times when you get an Inquiry instead of a Request are when the guest clicks "Contact Host" instead of "Reserve." That's a reasonable thing to do if you need to ask a question before making a decision, but it's not the process you'd use if you were genuinely ready to book. There are a lot of scam operations right now using the Inquiry form to target thousands of hosts at a time, so I don't recommend pre-approving any of these. It actually doesn't affect your acceptance rate if you choose not to pre-approve an inquiry; the only thing you're obliged to do is write a response to the initial message.
When Airbnb contacts you about a problem account, definitely take that seriously. But also keep your guard up about the accounts it doesn't contact you about.
