Hello everyone 👋 I hope you're all having a great week!

Recently, one of our wonderful hosts, @Oksana12, shared an inspiring post about the transformation of her property, titled "From Mess to Cozy Nest: The Transformation of "Mandarin"  I was truly impressed by all the hard work she and her team put into creating such a beautiful space 😍🍊

Has anyone else here completed a property transformation, whether it was during the start of your hosting journey or more recently due to personal renovations or guest feedback?

We'd love to see the changes you've made! Feel free to share before and after photos of your listing — your transformation could inspire many other hosts in our community 🌟

Best regards 😎

Hurricane season is always very stressful and this year particularly bad.  We got hit with two back to back.  The first one caused water intrusion in all 6 units.  The 2nd one took out my roof.   We replaced all the flooring in all units, 5K square feet of tile. I was fortunate that I was able to find a company that could get on it right away.

I've been in Florida since the day after the first hurricane and we are all back together again and the roof is being done this week.

All you can do is prepare with boarded up windows, sand bags etc.  We are in a flood zone so always a chance of flooding.

I am grateful however I didn't have the damage that many around me had and am back together and back in business.  It was a rough road the past 2 months.

This is one of 6 units we did in a building that is now 6 short term rentals in Dunedin Florida.  Every unit was like this and we did all of them over.  It was quite an undertaking but we got it done.

Hurricane Milton and Helene caused damage to this building so we had to do all the floors over and put in 5K sq feet of tile.
