@Tualee0   It does indeed look as though you have been scammed.  The listing is real, has reviews from as recent as three weeks ago, seems to be booked up until near the end of August and is hosted by someone called ‘Drew’ who is also mentioned in the reviews.  Your problem here is that apparently you did not book through Airbnb.  If you had then you would have been refunded in full had your Host cancelled on you.  As tempting as it is to get a cheaper stay by looking on Airbnb and then booking directly, this is not allowed  and offers you no protection.  You can complain to Airbnb but only if you are sure you were dealing with this Host through the genuine Airbnb site.  They will be able to check on the messages/history of that listing.  If you saw it and booked it off social media it is highly likely it was posted fraudulently.

@Tualee0   Yes, anyone who advertises an Airbnb listing on Facebook and tries to charge you outside of Airbnb is a scammer. How do you even know that person is the actual owner of the listing? It could be anyone.
