bed bugs

I was infested/attacked by bed bugs from my stay in Wilmington this past weekend. I told the host. I need to know the proper way to request a refund as I have had to purchase a heat box, 3 different kinds of traps, mattress and box spring protectors. I may also have to hire an exterminator.

@Paul8848 I guess you need to raise a claim through Aircover for Guests. I assume you have proof that the Airbnb was the source of said bugs?

@Paul8848 I see many, many pictures of bites on body, but two pictures of one bug, which may or may not be a bedbug. I would have expected pictures of an infestation. If you’re filing a claim, you will need to provide pictures of an infestation.

@Paul8848

Did you notify the host about this situation? Because I don't think they'll refund you for the items you bought.
