I did qualify as well, filled out the interest form but did not receive the email indicating I made the cut.  I just started hosting this year, so figured it was a long shot.  I will look to purchase when it hits the general public.

ok so even tho I received emails from airbnb confirming my eligibility and participation when I finally got thru to Morgan Stanley I was told that I was not in the “book” and was advised to call airbnb.  Who and how would I get ahold of someone at airbnb about this mix up?

This has been a terribly unfortunate experience. The Directed Share Program was supposed to have hosts in mind. Unfortunately as usual corporate juggernauts and private equity firms got a hold of the available shares and left hosts with near to nothing. AirBNBs idea of the Directed Share program was to embrace its hosts so that the Host would be able to grow with the company and to create brand loyalty. This totally backfired in my opinion.

I was pre registered, waiting for an email. When the email from Morgan Stanley finally came the program was closed due to high level of demand. really unfortunate AirBNB **bleep** the air bed on this one.

I was waiting for an email to let me know when this program had started I just found one in my junk mail and now it's too late to apply so I guess I just don't get a chance to buy stocks how very disappointing

I have been checking my junk mail every day since pre registering on 11/16 and this sucks to find out they let companies buy up all the shares,  leaving hosts behind. I didn't get the offer to buy any, I feel bad for the hosts that got the offer,  but then they closed the door on them last minute.
