Airbnb customer service is one of the most horrible grp I was dealing with! Got $100 gift card, used once but coz travel cancelled, so money back to gift credit under my account. I called the customer service, then followed the agent’s words, step by step, to book another trip on my app. When last step, the list showed my credit was added, so red square amount was the rest which I had to pay, when I clicked, my credit was charged the whole amount, but not the rest. I called service number again to ask, the agent kept to think it was my fault, then I did the same thing again, used another phone to record the processing by video, it happened again. Then finally there had a supervisor talked to me, sounds like she didn’t even do any research but still think it was my fault. Then I googled it, many ppl got same problem, gift credit couldn’t be used, obviously this is a system bug, Airbnb stuff never check it out and fool the customer! Even with video recording to prove the app’s mistake! If u get same problem, don’t even call them who r just don’t care about u! Just dispute it! At this moment bank can do much better job than Airbnb!
