Not sure what your question is here @Val4201

If you have it in your house rules that no guests are allowed in the accommodation that haven't booked or paid, then you can ask the additional overnight guests to leave.

I haven't had this in four years of hosting, so not quite sure why this is happening to you.

I can only suggest you remind guests of your rules about no visitors when you show them around your place.

Hi @Val4201

I know this can be very unsettling.

Please make sure that you add to your rouse rules that no one other than the registred guests are allowed in the house for insurances policy.

At the moment, there is nothing on your rules about that.

And do not be afraid to enforce the rules 🙂

Good luck hosting!

Thanks I will add that to my rules and mention it to my guests when they arrive.

@Val4201   If it happens a lot I would also add it in your messages to guests (I do), I have had a few close shaves and even been penalized because a guest retaliated  and wrote a nasty, dishonest, 1star review because they couldn't sneak in extra guests.

Some guests never get as far as reading or taking note of host's rules.  Reminding them of rules on arrival is often too late and the host is then forced to take the full blast for the guest's failings:  guest is annoyed or worse; guest cancels and Airbnb refunds the guest; Airbnb allows the guest to leave a retaliatory, dishonest, low star review and won't delete it, because it is deemed useful  to future guests, thus the host is penalized for a guest's wilful error, dishonesty or worse.

Thanks for that Ange and you are right, guests rarely read the rules so I shall put it in my messages.
