long term Rental payment

I found a place on airbnb i wanted to reserve in a couple months, and reserve it for a 12 month time. i see there is a full amount due for this reservation, but I only have saved for first and last months deposit, and was thinking of paying the rest month to month.

Is this feasible for a long term rental? If not, I would just book it for one month and keep renewing it every month to get my monthly payment set up.

Any help with this would be appreciated

Be sure that you book and make payment only via Airbnb, and not through a link provided to you by the host.  You should also bookmark the Airbnb Help Center site: www.airbnb.com/help.  The site is written in simple language, and contains a lot of useful information about their policies and procedures that you should read before making a long-term reservation.
