Interested to know more. So you got this message, then went to look on the app/website, and there was no booking?  I'm guessing you waited for some time, just to make sure the app/website wasn't just running behind the messaging?

I'd like to follow this, and whatever information you get from AirBnb, since the message appeared to have come from AirBnb. I'm a recently-new host, and wanting to be sure to protect the security of my messaging.

Thanks.

@Malcolm183

This appears to follow Airbnb messaging.

Were those dates blocked, is Instabook turned on? I would respectfully suggest that you review your account setup in detail.

I get that same message everytime I receive an Instabook.

@Malcolm183 As M199 points out, that is the message you get when an instant booking comes in. If it was immediately cancelled, that's unfortunate, but it happens sometimes. Not sure why you find any of this suspect.

@Malcolm183  The message said cancelled, or you cancelled it? What makes you think it was fraudulent? Unless you have Instant Book disabled, this sounds normal, not fraudulent at all.
