what happened to the map view alongside the listings?

AirBnb used to show listings on the left and the map on the right.  Now I can only get it to show one or the other.  Did the functionality change? 

I much preferred it the other way.  I could hover over a listing and see where it was on the map, I could look at the map and see a summary of listings in that area.  Easy peasy.

I do not like this new setup.  Is there any way to change it back?

edit:  Ok, while scrolling around the map a button appeared that gave me list view along with the map.  But it wasn't there right away and I don't know what I did to 'invoke' it.  As I recall this view came up automatically when searching.  So I found it but I seem to recall that it was easier to get to previously.

Hi @Jason1820, 

Are you referring to how information is displayed in the search results? If so it seems to still display both the listings and the map, straight away, on my end. If something still seems off for you, it might be worth trying to delete cookies and cache? Are you on desktop or mobile?

Hi Emilie,

Thanks for the reply.  I'm on desktop and yes, I'm talking about when you enter a search from the landing page, the results that show up.  I'm used to that to, what you describe, that view opening right away, the 'default' view.  I was very surprised and had to click around quite a bit until the right view showed itself.

It much have been a fluke because it's displaying correctly now.  Might be cache or something, but I have that cleared automatically every time I close the browser.  So it *shouldn't* be that... but who knows?
