Guest claims being robbed

Hello,

My last guest, Jonas Deman, claimed being robbed when visiting Rotterdam. He did not want to wait for processing by the police (it would have taken an hour).. (??) Did not visit his consulate either, but later on in his stay he asked me for money. I refused.  He says he asked people on the street and got lucky, 50euro..

This is not the first time this has happened.

I wanted to mention it and ask for advise. I don't like it when guests ask me for money, especially as they are staying in the house I live in. It makes me feel unsafe.
