Apply hosting credits to travel reservations? Advice?

As a host, I have some credit which has not been paid out to me because I set a Western Union payout amount.  (The credits are a small amount - $48.)

However, it would be very handy to apply them to a reservation I would like to make (as a guest) which is only $45.  This would be especially good since my credit card has expired and I didn't realize until I tried to make bookings today for my trip!

Any ideas on how to do this?
