Blocked calendar dates

Does anyone know why AirB&B randomly block dates on my calendar?  I also advertise on HomeAway and Tripadvisor and notice sometimes that AirB&B have booked dates off that are available.  

Any advice much appreciated.

It';s a relatively common bug in their platform - we have been members for about 2.5 years and it does it on a regular basis. It's quite frankly amazing that one of the main things required for a booking platform is one that is accurate and bug free. We raised it twice - no answer

 Thanks for the explanation Gerry and Rashid- wouldn't expect a bug like this with such a big company.  I have contacted them - will let you know if I have any joy.
