Bring back the old Stat Views

BRING BACK STATS VIEWS! Please!

As hosts, we need to see how many times our listing is viewed compared to others in our area (that we know are truly comparable). This essential feature was vital for many reasons!

*SMART Pricing does not compare our listing to comparable properties.
*The old Stat view gave us, as hosts, the ability to see exactly what the area's demand is for any given day/weekend, but even more importantly...
*It told hosts how they measure up compared to others.
*This view let us see exactly how many times we were viewed compared to how many potential guests were viewing other listings in the area, so how much of the market are we capturing?
*If we aren't capturing many views, what do we need to change? Title, price, policies...???
*This information enabled us to strategize our pricing and terms to try to increase views, which leads to bookings.
* This feature helped us to schedule our own travel around the lowest demand times so that we don't miss out on the best opportunities for bookings.
*For a newbie like me, I could look back through the previous year and see which dates during holiday periods had the most travelers - is it Christmas week, or really the week before? Now, I don't know since Airbnb deleted this feature. Dang, I didn't make notes because I had no warning that it was going away...can't tell you how disappointed, frustrated, irritated... I am!

***What I know - my total number of requests and bookings significantly dropped when comparing only 3 weeks during April that we were live to 4 whole weeks of May, and this is timed with the approach of my area's peak season, so doesn't make sense. Yikes, what happened?
*Losing this feature is a HUGE loss!
*PLEASE, bring it back!

I'm a fairly new host, just since last May, and so never saw this feature.

It sounds great! Please bring it back.  Wondering why you would remove a feature that would help hosts manage and market their listing.

Totally agree. The stats view used to show how "hot" our listing was, and whether or not it was affected by the calendar, the price, the photos etc. It made suggestions very clearly on the page. Now it just tells us the response rate and review information.

Totally agree.
Also - if this is to do with airbnb pushing us into "smart" pricing... (?)  It's dumb pricing if you ask me.  For one thing, they keep suggesting I set my price lower, when I am at near capacity!  Why would I?  And why would airbnb want me to because they get a percentage - would they want a percentage of LESS?
Clearly there is a goal (a corporate decision) to get people to review their unrealisticly high prices.  But I resent recieving the continual mass emails about it.  Airbnb used to be about personal service and small business... now it is a huge corporation, sending impersonal communication to the hosts.

Oh Airbnb, we used to be so close! (cue violin music)

Totally agree. It is also very unclear what constitutes a 'view'. How far do travellers look at my property before it is considered a view?

So is there still something to see page or ad visits on Airbnb?? I did not find anything!

I agree to the others that their price recommendations is nonsense, does not fit at all. I tried it, lowering the prices does not make and difference either.
