Do hosts get penalized for not accepting a request

hi there, new to airbnb hosting. 🙂

I changed our minimum stay to 4 days from 3 but it didn't save in our listing, and someone requested a 3-day stay. I want longer says, so I (very graciously) declined their request.

am i going to get penalized by airbnb for not accepting? we're new, so my listing doesn't have any reviews.

@Michelle396 No you don't get penalised for declining a single request- if you decline multiple requests in a row then you will get a warning
