Error when Accepting Guest Invitation

My SO booked a stay for us, and added me as a guest. However, when I click the link to accept the trip invitation, the app opens (I'm on iOS 11.2.5), and then I get the error:

"Error You do not hae permission to access this resource."

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Same problem (iOS 12.0.1). Any suggestions welcome ...
