conversation messages that are not passed on ie: was telling guest about a good restaurant .....

So I was having a converstation with a guest who had booked and was stopping off in another town before mine and I was telling them about a couple of great restaurants there and my message was not relayed, it is like it was intercepted and not sent through.

Any idea why?

My guess is that there was something that triggered Air Bnb to remove it.

I by chance today noticed a message to a recent booking wasn\t relayed. Has happened in the past too. No sensitive content, just the website I guess. Now I often remember and copy for pasting before sending a long one in case it doesn't go through.

The hidden email addresses are often stuck in the ether too, so anytime I send instructions etc. I tell guests to check if they got them.
