I cancelled a booking this morning but it still shows accepted. Should it not show cancelled?

Do I need to cancel the booking I cancelled this morning because it still shows accepted?  Will I be penalised twice?

@Maggie90  Usually hosts on this forum caution againt host cancellation so I am wondering if there is another option for you to avoid the host penalties of cancellation.  If you are using Instant Book and using one of the no penalty cancellations, then you are ok.  As to your question, I think you might want to contact Air BNB about your cancellation.  Here is a link to a guide about contacting Air BNB

@Maggie90    Same thing happened to me and I had to call Airbnb to do it their end. I think there may be a glitch.
