Diana, I am not clear what you expected Air BNB to do.  If someone, anyone, is an unruly person in my home, I would not hesitate to call the police.  How did you find out about the problem if you are not there?  A neighbor?  In my city, the regulations for short term rentals require that the owner designate to local person to handle issues if the owner is not available.  I think that is a good idea in general.  Keep us posted as to how this turns out.  I wish you well.
