I plan to be an Airbnb host in the future, but this isn't the time for me. I'd like to learn and work with another who is ready to do it right. I own a duplex with a 1-br apt which I think would be a beautiful Airbnb listing. I see many potential synergies partnering with an Airbnb host downstairs from me.
