I am a long time airbnb host & I am leading and hosting an event at my house in kitsilano this Wed Apr 27th in the evening. The focus is to educate the community about hosting and also help those who are ready to start !.
Several topics will be discussed about how to list, host, setup your place to receive guests and also topics like how to rent conscientiously while respecting city & strata bylaws, maintaining good relationships with the neighbors and respecting the communities' right to affordable & accessible housing.
New Hosts who attend will be eligible for a $250 bonus on airbnb, if he/she decides that it is something that they would like to do as well as create a listing & have their first booking within 3 months. I will be giving out a link in the meetup to enable those interested!
