@Karin36 Please help to clear up the confusion set forth by you and your post......Am I to understand from YOUR post that you are advocating travelers to contact hosts to come preview a property BEFORE the actual confirmed booking? I have read your post several times and it seems as if you are. If you are not, I wish you had also said that to be clear to host/travelers who are reading your post. That is completely against the terms and conditions of Airbnb. (no matter what the reason).
I had someone ask me once if they could preview my home, and it was the fastest "decline" I have ever done. Anyone who doesn't take the time to read the Terms and Condition/Policies of Airbnb as a host or guests, is not anyone I want to host. EVERYONE should be reading everything so they understand what is allowable and what is not. And this is why we have so many guests AND HOSTS violating these terms making it miserable for those hosts who go by the book. This is what I have heard before.."well our other host let us do that...." and my reply to that person was...."They are a violating host, AND I am a Superhost for a reason....because I do not violate the terms and conditions set forth by Airbnb. Thanks fo reading and replying to me. Aloha, Momi, Superhost in Hawaii #LiveThere
