Security Deposti for a rental - new hosts

Hi ,

We are renting our house for the first time. On the reservation the security deposit was not added to the charges.

Has this happenned to other hosts on airbnb?  How to resolve this issue?

@Frederic19, the Security Deposit is not added to the fee paid to hosts. It is held by AirBnB in the event that a claim is made against the deposit for damages to the listing. Other than in that situation, the money is not taken from the guest's account.
