blocking dates for myself

i cant find the way to block dates for my own use - i followed instructions noted but it doesnt give this option on my calendar

Okay, @Lori-Hill0, go to your calendar, click on a day you want to block, choose start and end date (if more than one day) and then choose "Blocked". Add a note if you like (I always do, so I remember why I blocked it), and then be sure to click Save Changes.

Does that do it for you? Sometimes you have to click Save Changes up to three times. I know I did yesterday.
