impossible to contact airbnb. Help!

I am an Australian host and hosted with airbnb for years.

It is currrently impossible to make contact with airbnb.

I am trying to help a guest with sending a special offer but there is a glitch in the system and we are both now tearing our hair out!

I have tried phone numbers and emails but nothing now works.

Someone help!

Has anyone experienced this issue.

One thing you could try is altering the specific day rate to reflect the offer. for example, if you charge $90 a day and they are staying for example for 3 days, and you want to give them a special offer discount of say $30 overall - just go into the calendar / pricing section and change the first date of their stay to $60. But do it when you are both online together tio save someone else grabbing that rate.

Remember to tell the guests you are doing that just for them and the rate is only temporary 🙂

Many people have had great success posting on Twitter with the @AirbnbHelp handle.  They will then ask you to DM (direct message) them.  It has worked wonders for many especially since you have tried calling.

yes having same problem, they dont want contact with the host. I advertise  on 5 other sites, never have this problem with them.

We urgently need to ask AirBnB to ask why they are continually reducing our 'Asking Price' for hosting by 2/3rds, resulting in endless disappointment to potential guests as well as ourselves. When we ask 'Help' to contact AirBnb it says they are available 24hrs a day if we go to their Contact Page, but where on earth is that to be found? Just seems a nightmare site, where hosts are not supported unless they have been lucky enough to get answers via 'the community' which we have thus far not been 'lucky enough' to get!

Hi Sonia, I have had the same problem.

AIRBNB are not there for the hosts only the tenants. They let a booking cancel 1 day prior to arrival when I have strict cancellation policy, they kept my $400.00 and I sat empty for the weekend.

Would you be upset if someone took $400.00 of you weekly wage.

 The tenant was able to contact airbnb instantly and airbnb in USA phoned me within mins.

I have phoned airbnb australia 3 times since the 12th dec and still havent had a case manager phone me. I will start calling daily.

I am a host in the United States.  I cannot contact airbnb either.  The contact page link sends you to a page to contact hosts or guests, not to contact airbnb.

same.  there is meant to be a "contact" tab but it doesnt exist.   Sadly I think air bnb is going down hill. They talk about being open and that anomymity doesnt build trust, yet there are impossible to communicate with - hypocritical

I have the same problem. I have been told that someone changed my bank details and they would hold off on a payment until I confirmed that i didnt initiate the change. They deposited 1 cent to confirm the valid account and that is all I have heard. I can only assume that airbnb has something to hide otherwise they would be contactable.

Yes I have. Eventually I reach them by phone in S.F. but several times they have not actually resolved my problem.
