Everyone knows of course of the suffering we, the residents of Buncombe County endured due to Hurricane Helene. Tragically, many lives were lost. People lost their homes, their income and businesses were severely damaged or destroyed. It's been devastating.

The beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, the Biltmore Estate and vibrant downtown have attracted visitors throughout the years. Tourism has always been a major source of income and it is crucial to get our region back on its feet again. Most restaurants, retailers, shops, galleries and hotels have reopened, fresh water is flowing once again, Wifi and electric are restored, however our visitor count is dismal to say the least.  

I urge AirBnB to help restore this beautiful region by promoting Asheville vacation rentals and attracting visitors to return.

Sorry I wasn't aware that your location was one of the locations around the world that has been affected  by recent floods and hurricanes @Terri-and-Carl0 

I would speak to your local tourism people about any plans to promote your location as a visitor attraction and how hosts in your location can work with them. .
