Base price

Base price

Hello,

I've just listed my first property on Airbnb. I set the base price at 105. And that is the price I set for the first couple of weeks.  I have different prices based on season, weekends, etc. But I was expecting 105 to show as the price. Instead it is 111. Anyone have any idea why the list price would be different than the base price? Thanks!

@Larry459 I could totally be speculating here . . . But, when dates are not entered, I heard that Airbnb uses the average of your nightly rates over the coming week.

So, your rate of $105 per night x 7 nights = $760 minus your weekly discount of $76 + your $90 cleaning fee = $774 over a 7 day period = an average of $111 per night

Thank you. I can confirm that.  l was told the same thing through a chat with Airbnb.  It took quite a while for Airbnb to get back to me. The agent checked with the engineers at Airbnb and they told her the price is an average of the upcoming week. Just as you said.
