Hi Airbnb community! I attempted to register my condo with BACP per the new Chicago ordinance, and my registration was denied. I am trying to confirm if I am still compliant with the city ordinance if I list for longer term stays but cannot find the exact definition of a short-term rental. I have two renters booked for 2022, each staying for 3-4 months; therefore, Airbnb does not require a Chicago registration number. That said, want to ensure I’m compliant with the city.
