Damage - insurance

Dear all, I need an advice:

I only have 1 day left before the 15 days time to report will end.

 

A guest damaged my bathroom basin and denied it. The surface of the ceramic has little cracks.

I’m a tenant. The landlord/company said that they won’t fix it because it will still be visible.

Instead they will ask me a refund for the loss of value of the sink when I will leave the apartment. Approximately around 250 fr.

I asked a sanitary company. They will charge 1400 fr to replace the basin. 


I spoke with Airbnb support. They say the insurance will pay but they need a receipt of the payment. 
I won’t have one since I will be charged in the future for the devaluation.

 

The sanitary company can close the cracks but they will still be visible and the landlord has already told me that is not good and they will still charge me for the loss of value of the basin.

 

Can I ask the insurance to cover the 250 fr without a bill?

Hi @Daniela2475, Since it has been a while you shared your post on the Community Center, did you manage to find a solution to this issue? How did you eventually deal with it?
