Gaps

We would like to create a rule which prevents guests leaving a gap pre or post their stay which is less than our minimum 3 night booking.

we seem to have quite a few 1 & 2 night gaps which mount up over the year. How can I create this as a setting / rule please!

The only way to do this would be to force check ins and outs to only happen on say Friday and Monday. That way you force a 3 night weekend or a 4 night weekday stay but still allow 7, 11 and 14 night stays.
