Horry county Airbnb

Hello, I recently purchased a home in Horry county and I’m interested in posting it on Airbnb, can anyone give me a list of what I need to do legally before posting my home and receiving customers, the neighborhood also has HOA.

Also it is a primary residence with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, not sure if they are different rules on this.

@Badr75 I have a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom house in Little River and I rent out 2 of the bedrooms individually. I removed a window in each room and installed an exterior door to each room. I average 100 a night for each room and I only charge 40.00 cleaning fee. (I pay a cleaning lady $30.00 each time) of course it is seasonal but I clear enough that I cover all of the household bills from the 5 months of renting out the 2 rooms. I hope you are successful with your Airbnb.

No one here can give you a list of what you need to do legally you will need to do your own research @Badr75 

But two immediate areas you can check are 

1.  Your HOA lease to see if running a business /STR is allowed

2. any STR restrictions with your local government
