I am new to Airbnb hosting and i am not getting a single view for last 2 days in NYC.

Hi,

I am new to airbnb hosting and the first 3 days I was seeing a lot of traction but last 3 days I haven't gotten a single view. I am wondering if anyone knows what's going on? I can't even find my listing when I look for listing in NYC.

Hi @Zain131! Welcome to Airbnb hosting! It’s fantastic to have you here. 😊 What inspired you to begin your hosting journey?

I’m sorry to hear you’re facing some challenges with visibility for your listing. Since you're new to hosting, I would recommend that you ask the Community for a listing critique as it could be very helpful to receive feedback from fellow hosts. Hello @Zain131

Had a look at your lovely listing but am a little confused as to what you're offering.  It says that you are listed as a room but in your description you mention it's an apartment with a shared kitchen and independent access.

I'm wondering if you might not be better listing it as a suite rather than a room especially as there is a sofa bed available too?  Other US hosts will chime in I'm sure and I'm not certain the stats we have are terribly accurate Zain if it's any consolation🤗

all the best

It looks like you may have set your listing up incorrectly as in your description you say it's a self contained studio (in which case you need to apply for an STR licence) but your listing is set up as a room in a shared home. Which is it? @Zain131

When you set up your listing what market research did you do into supply and demand for your type of listing in your location- many markets are oversaturated and demand does tend to fall in cities as winter approaches.

not all listings show up in every search normally it's only the top 300 whereas your city may have many thousands
