Incorrect application on discount on monthly and special promotion

My gross earning was USD 2200 for 28 nights @ USD 75 per day. 49% discount on monthly booking makes it USD 1071. Then 20% promotion discount should be given on USD 1071 as shown in pre-booking details. This would make net amount USD 857 after promotion discount of USD 214. The same was calculation was shown when I approved prebooking details. However, the confirmed booking is showing total price at usd 651. The error Airbnb made is that it applied both discounts on gross amount instead of applying the second discount on net amount. I connected with Airbnb support team and she informed me that this is a unique issue and she needs to raise it to technical team and for raising the issue she needs to close it from chat. I am waiting for response from technical team. Has any body had similar issue or any guidance in this regards.

Discounts are cumulative and applied on the base price, as far as I'm aware. So the 49% plus the 20% amounts to 69% discount on the booking. Not 20% off the discounted monthly price.

Thanks for your response @Sarah977 . However, this was not the case in my previous booking and booking request, I received for approval. The second discount was applied on net amount in both cases. Therefore, I believe it should have remained same when the booking was confirmed.
