I've been reading so many similar stories to my own and I find the trend very worrying. My husband and myself are new to Airbnb and the first few payments we received with no issue but we had guests stay for the last week of February and we still have not been paid. This is unacceptable from a company as large and established as Airbnb to not have proper customer support and on time payment is ridiculous.
I have called 5 times and each time I am told the same thing, there is a 'specialist team' that my case has been sent to in order to verify my account. I have sent in all the required information and still have had no contact from anyone at the company.
I am extremely annoyed at having had to chase behind for a payment for a service that we provided wholeheartedly. I would like this issue resolved ASAP and I am very seriously considering taking my place off of Airbnb is this is to be the new norm.
Please can someone help?!!
