Hello Hosts!  Just wondering about the reviews you have received.  Do most people review you the same?  Can we review our guests?  Thank you for replies and likes... Eileen

@Eileen462 Both guest and host have 14 days post stay to review each other. As soon as both parties have reviewed the reviews are posted. If only one party reviews then their review is posted after 14 days and the other party cannot review.

Other things to note:

At any time you can ask for YOUR review to be deleted

At no time can you edit/correct a published review (you can edit an unpublished one for a short period of time)

You can respond to a review but cannot then get this response edited or deleted

Responding to a private comment left by a reviewer becomes public (weird I know)

@Mike-And-Jane0 @ Thank you for your reply.  I was wondering how it all worked.  Smiles,  Eileen

Hi @Eileen462

I know I have suggested this resource to you before but it doesn't sound like you have found it.

The Airbnb Help website provides you with FAQs around many of the questions you have posted on this group. For example in answer to your questions about how reviews work.

Hello @Eileen462 ! Hosts can indeed receive a range of reviews from guests, as individual experiences can vary. Some hosts may receive consistent positive reviews, while others might have a mix of positive and constructive feedback.

As a host, you can absolutely review your guests. This allows you to share your experience and provide feedback that can be helpful for other hosts. Keep in mind that constructive feedback can be beneficial for both hosts and guests, fostering better communication and improving the overall hosting experience.

If you have any specific concerns or questions about the review process, feel free to ask, and I'll do my best to assist you!

@Arslan20  Thank you for offering your assistance.  I enjoy asking questions and getting feedback from other hosts about their experiences and opinions.  I think it keeps the forum moving, new people learning that might be intimidated to ask questions like I do and perhaps developing a team effort.  I think that more communication creates a positive atmosphere that will help AIRBNB be a successful venue which it already is but even moreso.
