Taxes for Hotels

Hello host hoteliers,

I am losing my mind slowly trying to figure out this tax portion. I have been told by Air BNB reps that they collect taxes on my behalf but I have so many unanswered questions:

-  How do hotels manage the tax portion in their operating systems? (Ex: place bookings as tax-exempt, charge taxes but zero it out, etc.

Any guidance is extremely appreciated!!

If you are a hotel, you need to setup your account as a business account.

The "professional tools" give you possibilty to add several taxes, like VAT, tourist tax etc.

Which will be included / calculated in the booking
