refund issues

We had booked a 2 bedroom suite  for two nights to attend a curling event in Camrose Alberta in January. Due to the new restrictions in Alberta regarding capacity of venues etc. the event was cancelled. I immediately contacted the host who told me that she would not keep any of the refund except for the AirBnB fees if I cancelled so that the dates would re-open in her booking calendar. So I did. AirBnB refunded the 50%, and the host is no longer responding to my messages. Do I have any recourse or am I just out the $280.00?

@Shelley363     The host would have been advised as to what was refunded to you as per her selected cancellation policy.  She may be waiting to see if any of the dates will be rebooked, in which case she may refund additional monies, which would be a gracious act on her part.  Unfortunately, if you have had no further communication from the host, I think you may be out the funds.
