A no show guest that gave us 3 stars

Hello!

 

So we had a guest book for 3 nights and never showed up. He then stated in his rating that he had "no input" since he never stayed at our place but gave us 3 stars - and that's bad, right? How can you give any stars to a place you've never been to? I feel like I should tell him that he should be concious in the future that a bad rating/low stars can really hurt us and in the future, if this happens again he should just not rate hosts. I'm also of the mind to just let it be and not say anything. We never gave a review of the guest as we never got to see how he left the place and never met him.

 

Is there anything we can do?

If a guest doesn't turn up you should contact Airbnb and let them know. Then both you and the guest won't be able to leave a review.

 

It sounds like you didn't do this.

 

Get in touch with Airbnb now and let them know. They can then remove the review.

Really! I didn't know this was an option - I'll look into it right away! Thanks so much Helen!

 

As you can tell, we're new to this so I'm not even sure how to contact AirBnB but I'll figure it out.
