Help and any information on rules and regulations for Airbnb in Monroe County, FL.
My father passed away last December and we have a family vacation home in Cudjoe Key. According to everything I've read online, it seems the only way to rent out a home is for no less than at least 28 days per rental. Unless renting in a gated community with 24-hour surveillance. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to adhere to the laws of Monroe County and rent out for a short-term lease?
Unfortunately, the only way my family will be able to afford to keep this home in the future is to rent it out.
Has anyone tried hiring an attorney to find a loophole for private property owners to list short-term rentals and had any success?
