Airbnb service fee refund.

Hi there,

My name is David Crozier. I booked with AirBnB for my family last year to go to Bali as a special occasion this year in April. By chance we looked at the website again and noticed that what we thought we had booked was for the entire villa but then saw here were more aprtments. So we quired this with the host Paul.

He admits that it was perhaps misrepresented and so we have cancelled and booked at a new place in Bali. My concern here is we paid for a service fee which is non-refundable but it wasn't our fault this place gave the incorrect description. Surely we shouldn't be charged twice for the service fees. We are still using Air BnB. Please refund the service from our first booking. Thanks David

 Hi David,
I have gone back through the listings for the 3 Apartments at Medewi Manor and changed all the entire / place / apartment tags to private room in Boutique Hotel / Apartment / Hotel / House etc. I admit (but did not realise) it might have been confusing now that we have opened 2 further apartments (awsome by the way) . What I was trying to say was "Entire Apartment". Go ahead and cancel and we will give you a full refund.

@David3655  We are all hosts on the forum happy to help if we can, unfortunately you'll have to ring the number on your booking confirmation. Chat to customer service and ask them to look at the exchange of messages with the host that cancelled, also ask for a 10% discount for the hastle you've had to put up with.
