Bad review or not?

Hello, in general I always have a great guests and always good reviews.  However, I received an email from my property management that teh guest moved the thermostat to 60 F (there is a note asking not to move it below 75 F) and the AC unit was damaged.  I contactd the guest and I just let her know that this was repoirted to me and I may need to ask her for a payment of the damage.  Her answers were rude and offensive, insulting me and telling me that I just wanted to take advantage and get more money from them.  After her offesinve emails, I wrote the review below:

"Terrible guest. They changed the thermostat to 60 degrees and caused a major problem with the AC unit. When I contacted them, this lady became rude and threatened to call her lawyer and denied everything. I do have confirmation form the Property Manager about this and she still denies. If yo care about your house, be careful with them!"

Now she is contacting me again and telling me she will proceed legaly against me if I don't remove the review.  She claims that I have no proof she touched the thermostat.

Can anyone give me some advice?  Can Airbnb do something about it or they will just do nothing to protect a host?  Of course I hav all emails she sent just in case.

Thank you!

I wouldn't worry too much @Marco1402

Presumably you have date stamped photo/video evidence of the thermostat being turned down on check out from your property manager?

And you will have a quote from however who is brought in to fix the air conditioning to indicate this caused damage and the cost of fixing it.

You can't remove a review in any case. This is something only Airbnb can do.

I would give Airbnb a call to give them a heads up and they will be able to see your correspondence with the guest on Airbnb messaging.
