Hello, I'm new to AirBnB and am wanting to leave some positive feedback for my last trip which ended yesterday. Unfortunately I can't. I can find no indication as to whether this is normal or not. I can find no way of contacting AirBnB, save through some very well-hidden urgent help phone number, which I am definitely not paying for.
You do not need to contact airbnb for this. You will be sent an e-mail with a link when the system is ready for you to leave feedback. There will also be a note in your dashboard.
I wish this were true but sometimes it doesn't work. I had a woman stay who I've been unable to write a review for. I wasn't sent a prompt - I can't find anywhere on my airbnb to leave a review - and when I contacted Airbnb to enquire about the problem and how to fix it I received no reply except an email several days later to say something like they hoped my problem had been fixed. It's disappointing but I simply don't have time to spend further on it now.
I just got my prompt. The guest stayed on the 6th and I got it today - that's two days after the 14 day period. I'm about to fill out the review and if it's not allowed for being outside time I'm not going to be happy. But I'll keep you posted 😉
It came 16 days after???
Hmmmm...
You will probably get a prompt email asking you to leave a review. Sometimes it takes a while, but I think it's so nice of you to care! Positive reviews mean so much to hosts!
and if the email doesn't arrive in a day or two, contact airbnb (Facebook or Twitter) to send you the invitation! better be safe than sorry.
