Confirming a booking

I have been contacted by a new Airbnb traveler and they want to book a stay with me. They are confused as to how they confirm this reservation and I don't know either as I haven't actually ever booked for myself.

@Sue41  The best advice you could offer is to have them use the Help Center.  You could also look at the Help Center but the advice might not be appropriate to whether a device or computer is being used.  I have seen many many postings about how hosts with big hearts tried to help a new traveler spending a great deal of time only to have the traveler book elsewhere.

They will proceed through the entire booking process, including payment.  Once they have paid, they will be confirmed and you will both receive a confirmation.
