Down Duvets

How often should the down duvet INSIDE be washed? I wash the COVER between every guest?

I wash the duvet cover (offcourse) after being used, so between every guest.

The duvet inside only when it's neccesary due to stains or being not fresh anymore, depending on amount of use.

@Jill2  You live in a place that's sunny and warm a lot of the time, as I do. I don't have back-to-back guests and it's too hot here 75% of the year to even use a duvet, so it doesn't get used that much. I wash it once a season (that would be after about 3 months of sporatic guests) but I'll often shake it out and hang it in the sun for a day to freshen up. And of course, if someone spilled something or had some kind of accident on the duvet, I'd wash it then.
