Grand mother passed away and burial for body was scheduled during a guest visit.

I needed to cancel a stay with very short notice. I tried to work with the guest to help them get another place, but overall was an inconvenience for the guest.

I have documentation for the burial and upcoming memorial.

Is there anything I can do to remove the cancelation review?

Hi @Lenny6 - I'm so sorry about your grandmother. This would be considered an extenuating circumstance & if you contact Airbnb, you should be able to get the cancelation penality waived and the dates unblocked. In hindsight, the best way to have handled this would be to have involved Airbnb right at the start - explained your situation and asked them to re-house the guest, and cancel the booking due to extentuating circumstances.

All ways to contact Airbnb are here:https://community.airbnb.com/t5/Community-Help/Contact-Airbnb-A-Community-Help-Guide/m-p/16165#M728

I hope that helps! Karen
