What happens if after check-in a guest decides to leave as they weren't aware that pets are on property

Your listing does not mention in section "other things to note" that pets live on the property.

Your houserule mentions:

"We ask that guests keep the kitchen / hall door closed, so as the puppy can't get upstairs."

Did the guests cancel the reservation ?
