It happened on last Friday. The claim is going on now. Airbnb has not been involved. My question is: does anyone have similar experience?
Isn't that the kind of thing ordinary insurance is for? Maybe with guests paying the excess. Guests would expect a place to carry insurance.
I don't think insurance will carry this kind of damage.
AirBnB should make the guests pay at least via their security deposit.
Could you please tell us how this was solved? Same issue happened at ours...
